Dixie Converting was established in 1978 to accommodate a growing need in the paper industry for slit and twisted paper. We are located approximately 50 miles west of Atlanta in Carrollton, Georgia. Our offices and warehouse occupy over 200,000 square feet, with 190,000 square feet used for production and warehouse capacity. Our production capabilities include Narrow Width Slitting, General Slitting, Sheeting, Twisting, and Printing. We provide a variety of paper and board grades to a diverse market. Our services include contractual converting.
Our shipping and receiving docks can handle six trucks simultaneously, while our rail spur – serviced by Norfolk Southern Railway – will accommodate five cars. We provide computerized inventory tracking for both shipping and receiving. In addition, we maintain digital dock scales to verify inbound and outbound freight. Dixie Converting’s computer and administrative systems are custom-designed specifically for the roll paper converting industry. Our staff is highly experienced and well-trained to provide our customers with rapid information and documentation, along with responsive order and inventory control.
